Marissa Lampe, LCSW

Hi, I’m Marissa! My journey in the mental health field began as a victim advocate in rural southwest Colorado, where I supported survivors of interpersonal violence and sexual assault. This experience deepened my passion for trauma-informed care and led me to earn my Master’s in Social Work (MSW) from the University of Denver, along with a certificate in Human-Animal-Environment Interactions—because, let’s be honest, sometimes animals make the best therapists.

I recently returned to my roots on the North Shore and am excited to continue supporting individuals on their healing journey. My approach is client-centered and strengths-based, grounded in humor, unconditional positive regard, and empowerment. I believe healing happens in a space where you feel heard, respected, and safe to show up as your full, unfiltered self. My goal is to help you navigate life’s challenges, build resilience, and reclaim a sense of control. Offers Virtual & In-Person Appointments

I integrate various evidence-based approaches, having obtained additional training in EMDR (EMDRIA-approved basic training, working toward full certification), CPT, and trauma-informed care.

I work with individuals navigating various challenges, with particular experience in PTSD, anxiety, depression, addiction, grief, and life transitions. I take a highly collaborative approach to treatment planning, ensuring therapy is tailored to each person's unique needs. I also recently began working with couples and offer Gottman Method Couples Therapy (Level 1), using a strengths-based approach to help couples improve communication and strengthen their connection—because love is great, but sometimes it can be a bit rough.

Therapy can be tough, but you don’t have to do it alone. I look forward to walking alongside you on your path to healing and growth!
